"Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to listen to the entire Hex album The Credit of Not Caring available from mrw44 soon. Good Luck because I certainly will not be spending 74 minutes of my life listening to a horrendous amount of noise, dull repetition, distinct lack of tunes and the general feeling that Hex are a bunch of chancers."
Mark Scott, guitarist from Hex, the band who just don't care.
Pounding bass,
distorted guitars, drum machine on speed, nerve-wracking feedback...
Even the quieter moments are heavy and full of menace. And when the time comes
for the improbable pop song that is "Murano St.", one cannot help feeling
there is a touch of irony about it, the sense of insecurity growing as the
end drags, before making way to ear-bleeding noise with the 40-minutes long
last track, "Unnamed (As Yet)".
This album is hexagonal!

One thing I can't help quoting, taken from the Mogwai site questions & answers page, from someone called James who asked Mogwai this: "And have you heard hex? they are the next mogwai (if mogwai were made of sharp objects) in my opinion.".
Also, this is quite funny:
