Milgram

The group started in 1997 with drums, 2 basses and guitar.

A first album -Vierhundertfunfzig Volts- was recorded in sept.1998 by Fred Norguet and released in 1999 on Pandemonium records. They went on tour around Europe (England-Ireland Dec.1999) (Switzerland-Austria-Slovenia-Italy-France-Spain Mar-Apr.2000) a long time ago...

A second album - Subversion Standard - was released on Red F records (home to the Redneck Manifesto) in September 2002. Recorded by Greg Teurtri in December 2000 and mixed by Fred Norguet again in April 2001.

After the departure of one member, the band has been playing as a trio since November 2001: Nicolas, Jeremie and Frederic, in a basic formation (but none the less efficient) drums, bass, guitar.

All the former songs having been left for post-mortem fame, they are now working on a brand new and exceptional set of instrumental songs, and should re-pop in your tree-houses, kitchens and clubs pretty soon. Don't miss them, you really could not forgive it to yourself!

Milgram's second album, on Red F Records. Looped, Slint-esque, Albini flavoured, experimental - what better references for a band. Recorded when they were still four (guitar, drums and 2 basses), this album is a pretty diverse affair - from loud and heavy to quiet and calm with some looped violin thrown in along the way. Anyone who knows the Pandemonium sound (Condense, Hint etc.) will have an idea what to expect. One of those albums that gets better every time you listen to it.
